May – June – July – prime time to fill your cooler with walleye. Weather is stable. Fishing is by drifting and casting.
July is a great time to hook into a good number of bass while the crayfish in Lake Erie begin shedding their hard shells.
August on Lake Erie out of Geneva, Ohio– Deep water trophy walleye, and a few bonus steelhead. Fishing is by trolling with spoon and worm rigs. There is limited time at this location following the big walleye. We follow the fish!
September – October – this time of year is for smallmouth bass trophy hunters. Live bait fishing with softcraws. These bass run in size from 2-6 pounds. We’ll have softcraws for market prices. |
